Kaylin Andersen was born in Kitchener-Waterloo. She studied Art and Art History in a joint program with the University of Toronto and Sheridan College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts diploma and degree in 2016. She currently resides and works in Toronto. She has exhibited in the Sheridan College Gallery, the Erindale Theatre, 46-3061 Sir John's Homestead Pop-Up Gallery, the Blackwood Gallery, the Woman's Art Association of Canada and is now being represented by John A. Libby Fine Art. She specializes in painting and drawing in a variety of different mediums depending on the piece. Her subject ranges from illustrative fantasy art inspired by tattoo art, popular culture and mythology to documenting everyday life in our time. She likes to depict the Canadian North especially around Algonquin park and Killarney as well as Toronto cityscapes.
