John A. Libby opened the Masters Studio an extension of the fine art gallery that was established in 1978.
You may have a painting that has been in your family for years, a damaged frame, a painting in the hallway that seems to be dull and lifeless or you just purchased a work for your collection. Heat, light, dampness and aging varnish can all take their toll on the life of any art treasure. Discolouration from acid in watercolours and prints can be treated to stop deterioration. Water stains and creases can often be repaired. Works on paper should be framed in acid free materials and with non-reflective Ultra Violet glass.
Our specialists can restore sculptures in wood, stone or bronze. Vintage and Antique frames can also be cleaned and repaired.
The Master's Studio team of specialists have the highly refined skills to examine and recommend the appropriate treatment and provide you with an estimate of what it would cost to bring your picture back to life. Restoration reports and estimates can be provided on request.
