Nesta Horne was born to a civil engineer and artist in the West Indies. She studied at the National Academy of Design in New York and the Academie Moderne in Paris. She exhibited her work with the Society of Artists at the Vancouver Art Gallery, as well as in Toronto, St. Catherines, Hamilton and Washington, D.C. She is known for painting landscapes, flowers, semi-abstracts and portraits.
