E. Jane Hunter attended the Ontario College of Art and lives in Toronto. In 1980 she was elected a member of The Ontario Society of Artists and in 1995 became a member of The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. She paints mostly in watercolour and her subjects are mostly Toronto evening scenes. Jane has been represented by John A. Libby since 2003. A booklet on the artist was published by John A. Libby. See "Shop" on this website for details. Awards: Award of excellence from the CSPWC in 1995, 1999 and 2002. One of her paintings was chosen by the CSPWC in 2000, the year of their 75th anniversary, to be included in a presentation of works to the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle. In May 2003 one of her paintings was chosen for the primary image on posters and publicity for the historical exhibition, "Toronto, Place of Meeting" at the TD Gallery, Toronto Reference Library.
