THOREAU MACDONALD
(1901-1989)

Thoreau MacDonald was the son of the Group of Seven member J.E.H. MacDonald. 
He was colour blind and as a result he worked primarily in black and white. 
He is well known for his illustrations in many books and he also worked as an illustrator
​ for Ryerson Press and Canadian Forum.
